📌DEFINITION:
🔸Kunakha is a Kshudra Roga (minor disease) characterized by thickening, discoloration, deformity, roughness, and brittleness of the nails, mainly due to vitiation of Vata and Kapha doshas affecting the nail bed.

🔸Nimba
🔸Manjishta
🔸Aragwadha
🔸Kumari
🔸Gandhaka Rasayana
🔸Panchavalkala Kashaya
🔸Jatyadi Taila
🔸Nimbadi Taila
📌PROCEDURE
1. Local cleansing (Shodhana) with Triphala or Panchavalkala Kashaya.
2. Lepa (paste application) using Haridra + Nimba + Manjishta.
3. Taila application – Jatyadi Taila or Nimbadi Taila to soften and heal.
4. Internal medication like Gandhaka Rasayana, Triphala churna for purification.
5. If suppuration present – perform Vrana Shodhana and Ropana Karma.

🔸Avoid nail trauma and harsh chemicals.
🔸Do not apply Lepa on open infected wounds.
🔸Continue internal purification for chronic cases.
🔸Monitor for secondary bacterial infection.
