📌DEFINITION :
🔸Yoni Pichu is a local vaginal treatment in which a sterile cotton swab/pad (pichu) soaked in medicated oil or ghee is placed inside the vagina for a specified period to treat various gynecological disorders.

📌PROCEDURE :
🔸 Preparation – Patient empties bladder; genital area cleaned with warm water/decoction (e.g., Triphala Kashaya).
🔸Position – Lithotomy position.
🔸 Medicine Preparation – Selected medicated oil/ghee warmed mildly.
🔸 Pichu Preparation – Sterile cotton swab is soaked in the medicated oil/ghee.
🔸 Insertion – Pichu placed gently inside vagina covering cervical region.
🔸Retention – Kept for 30 min to several hours (as advised).
🔸Removal & Cleaning – Pichu removed; area cleaned with lukewarm water or mild decoction.
